As everyone knows, Teller County is burger country with many eateries competing each year for the coveted Mountain Jackpot Best Burger award, a sacred title among the many throngs of meat-loving fans, and a contest that generates a huge following. Places like McGinty’s and Russ’ Place always seem to make the top of the list, but there are other eateries that offer delicious takes on the popular meal.
Even though 110 Reserve, located in the heart of downtown Woodland Park, launched as a “social gathering hub” as opposed to a restaurant or bar, their recently updated menu has something for everyone. The social gathering spot has especially pleased burger lovers lately.
With their unique style of cooking, 110 Reserve’s relatively new menu gives burger lovers quite a few options. And as an added bonus, all of the burgers on their menu can be made with grilled chicken or a half pound Angus Prime Rib Beef Patty. The burgers also come with a choice of fries, a small side salad or veggies. For a side dish, TMJ highly recommends Miss Pam’s specially-crafted Caesar salad.
For those who like to stick to a plain old burger, the 110 Reserve menu offers their signature menu item (the 110 Reserve Burger) with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Customers can also choose to add an extra patty, bacon or cheese to it as well.
The eatery also offers some menu items for the more adventurous burger lovers. Patrons can choose from their Reserve Bacon Burger with cheddar cheese, candied bacon and maple bourbon syrup, or their Bulleit Bourbon BBQ Bacon Burger with cheddar cheese, thick cut bacon and Bulleit Bourbon BBQ Sauce. A green chili burger is also on the menu.
Aside from burgers, the 110 Reserve menu also features a slew of delicious appetizers, snacks, other types of sandwiches, soups and salads, and even pizza. And the social gathering place is probably best known for its creative menu of hand-crafted cocktails. Their desserts like their Bourbon Cheesecake have also received great reviews.
110 Reserve also features specials just about every day of the week. On Thursdays, they offer their “Local Social Special” which includes a burger and a beer for $18 and a pizza and a pint for $20.
Many tend to flock to the patio of 110 Reserve when the weather is nice to take in the sun and enjoy the picturesque views of Pikes Peak. However, the social hub is also a prime spot for entertainment in the winter with live music every Friday night and karaoke every Saturday night in their recently added event room.
