Silly Stiches Halloween Show. Scheduled at the Rocky Dinosaur Resource Center in Woodland Park (201 S. Fairview Street) on Oct. 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. Silly Stitches, the scarecrow, is trying once again to scare away the crows, but as usual he’s not having much luck. Trunk or Treat. Held on Halloween night! Scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Bring all the goblins and ghouls to a frightfully fun time in Cripple Creek. Appropriate costumes are suggested because everything will be outdoors. Munchkins, ghosts, dragons, and witches and warlocks will be crawling, skipping, and slithering their way through the maze of decorated vehicles. Don’t miss the excitement on Halloween night. Trunks will be set up on 1st Street south of Bennett Ave, and along Masonic Ave, next to the Parks & Rec Building.
Families, businesses, and clubs are invited to decorate your trunk and enter to win a prizes in specific categories. Cash donations are also being collected to help with the candy purchase. Gold Hill Theatres: Woodland Park’s gem Gold Hill Theatres will be celebrating the Hallowen holiday on the 31st. The theatre will be showing a special presentation of a Halloween favorite film at 11 a.m. Halloween morning. It only costs $10 for a ticket and a medium combo.
Crystola Roadhouse: Crystola Roadhouse is rocking in Halloween the night before with Swell on their famous stage. The party starts at 8 p.m. October 30 and it will run until midnight. The evening will feature a costume contest and the winner will receive the venue’s mystery prize.
110 Reserve: Woodland Park’s newest social gathering hub is making headlines across the state! On October 30, the Reserve will be hosting their Halloween costume party starting with events for the kids from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festivities continue at 4:30 p.m. with live music and prizes will be given out for the best costumes.

Thin Air Theatre Company will “scare you silly” with this year’s fall production from the warped mind of Chris Sorensen. When a spirit starts scaring off clients of Cripple Creek’s favorite brothel, The Old Homestead, Madam Pearl de Vere offers a hefty reward to anyone who can rid her house of the ghost. On a dark & stormy night (of course it would be dark & stormy) three of the unlikeliest ghost-busters turn up to answer her call. Steeped in mystery, history, thrills & chills… not to mention plenty of laughs, this show promises to be a Halloween treat for the whole family.
