Several Colorado agencies participated in a multi-county criminal investigation into a group associated with black market marijuana cultivation and distribution. Investigators from the Teller County Narcotics Team, the Las Animas Sheriff’s Office, and the DEA, assisted by the
Colorado Springs Police Department and The Colorado State Patrol participated in the execution of three property search warrants stretching from Colorado Springs, to Divide, to a location in Las Animas County in a 14-hour effort. So far, two people have been arrested but there are others who will be taken into custody on pending arrest warrants.
