ILLEGAL MARIJUANA GROW TAKEN DOWN

SEARCH WARRANT EXECUTED IN TELLER COUNTY, ONE ARRESTED.

Teller County, CO, July 27, 2018– Yesterday afternoon, the Teller County Sheriff’s Office conducted a marijuana raid in Teller County. A search warrant was obtained and executed during the course of an investigation and one person was arrested.

On July 26, 2018, deputies from the Teller County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 41 Sodalite Ln., an address near Divide. Deputies discovered 29 marijuana plants being illicitly grown on a section of the property. Dried and processed marijuana was also recovered. One individual, Bobby Scanlon DOB 4/10/1974, was arrested and charged with Offenses Related to Marijuana and Marijuana Concentrate with a $1000.00 bond. The grow was located in a wooded area on the property. There was a water pump found supplying a 500-gallon water tank for the plants.

Mr. Scanlon may face additional charges, as the investigation remains ongoing. Mr. Scanlon has been booked into the Teller County Jail.
