cover1 3.10.15Time to get your Irish on! St. Patrick’s Day is exactly one week from today. Beginning this weekend, events that pay tribute to Saint Patrick and the Emerald Isle are scheduled throughout the Pikes Peak region.


Start celebrating Saint Patrick and all things Irish at McGinty’s Wood Oven Pub on Saturday March 14. Located in Divide at the intersection of Hwy 24 and Hwy 67, there’s ample free parking.

Cripple Creek

On St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, March 17, the Butte Theater is hosting a free night of classic rock and blues with the Dave Mitchell Band for those 21 and older. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00. Come and enjoy an evening of live music, fun and dancing and perhaps a bit of green beer and Irish spirits! 719-689-6402

It’s St. Patrick’s Day at Ralf’s in Cripple Creek, and they’ve got a special offering: Owner Chris wants everyone to learn Gallic the Ralf’s way! The challenge: Interpret the following sentence and then stop by to receive a free green beer on the day celebrating green – “Whale Oil Beef Hooked”. Ralf’s will have all the traditional offerings including corned beef and cabbage, so get your Gallic on in high altitude style.

Colorado Springs

The Colorado Springs parade that honors Saint Patrick, will take place this Saturday, March 14. The parade is scheduled to start downtown at noon.


All day on Tuesday, March 17 in honor of Saint Patrick, the Crystola Roadhouse will be serving Corned Beef & Cabbage and also Guinness French Onion Soup. Indulge in a little green beer and drink a toast to Ireland’s patron saint!

Woodland Park

The Historic Ute Inn will be featuring Corned Beef and Cabbage in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day and you can wash it all down with green beer!
