California “White Rabbit” Group Gearing Up For Early May Opening.

With tensions escalating at local public meetings in Woodland Park, plans for a new mobile, 4,000-square-foot psychedelic mushroom and healing center are moving forward, with the prospects of the first ever facility in Teller County, planned in front of the WP City Hall.
According to sources, the new White Rabbit Inc facility — featuring a large healing area, a variety of magic mushrooms that can be consumed on site under proper supervision, and five public health and mental health counselors — is moving full-speed ahead with their ambitious $15 million plans, with a possible opening date of early May. The facility also will have the capability to offer an additional entertainment annex.
In an emergency meeting, the Woodland Park City Council last week amended their rules regarding healing centers, which are now legal in Colorado, to accommodate the new project.
The council initially had concerns about these facilities, but had a change of heart, following a series of heated joint sessions with the WP RE-2 School Board. Plus, legal advisors for the city cautioned that healing centers cannot be banned.
“The truth is we just cannot stop these types of healing centers any longer, especially considering the behavior of some people, who attend our public meetings,” said Woodland Park Mayor Kellae Casie, regarding the pursuit of the California-based White Rabbit Inc (WRI). “And then there are secret meetings by certain unnamed boards that is adding extra confusion to the situation. Actually, maybe their product and therapy sessions will be a plus for the community. It will bring back some proper integrity and perspective.”
WRI Executive leaders of WRI have confirmed that Woodland Park is their prime site in Colorado.
“We have never seen a town that is so passionate about politics. They may need our products to possibly soothe a little tension and just to ‘Feed Your Head’ with some peace and tranquility, if such a quality exists in Woodland Park,” stated Grac Sickie, president of WRI
WRI is named symbolically after the famous song that some say helped propel the psychedelic revolution in the late 1960s with a different drug-oriented version of the Alice in Wonderland children’s story, originally written by the English author Lewis Carroll.
Although details are still conceptual, the all-mobile facility will come equipped with an additional entertainment annex, featuring food and alcoholic beverages.
RE-2 School District Board President Mick Bataes and Interim Superintendent Eron Saltie are reportedly eying this aspect of the project, as the start of a revenue source to help offset the loss of $3 million-plus that the district normally obtained from the city, in the form of a sales tax increase, okayed by the voters of Woodland Park on two occasions.
“This was a usurping of the will of the people,” announced marketing and public relations guru Mike Parini, in regards to the recent action taken by the city. “The school deserves a portion of this forthcoming revenue pie.”
“I am sure we are going to have more than five more meetings with the Woodland Park City Council over the sales tax situation,” said Bataes. “Since they stole our sales tax in the last emergency meeting, maybe we can get a portion of revenue at the entertainment annex, or the healing center itself. If successful, maybe the company will expand their operations to include a site next to RE-2 District.”
The entertainment annex will be run by Trevor Phapes, of TMC News. “I am not sure if drinks can be made strong enough for residents who attend the regular RE-2 board and city council meetings I will do my best,” said Phapes, who is proposing Trevor’s Specials. Reportedly, even golfing wild man and former PGA and British Open champion John Daleay, who was recently spotted in the Shining Mountain golf course bar, could not master one of these drinks.
“Let us try to work together,” pleaded Teller County Commission Chairman Dan Williems. At the same time, the commission chairman conceded that with current tensions building between officials from the city of Woodland Park and the RE-2 School Board, possibly a psychedelic healing center could serve a useful purpose.
