Dear Editor:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our great community for all the support we (Old Homestead House Museum) have received.
The (Pearl’s Follies) event hosted over 200 people in attendance to enjoy an evening of fun and merriment. And we know more wanted to be there; we will hopefully have more room next year. A little more accounting needs to be done, but we know we made over $9,500, which will help us so much with upcoming expenses. Can’t believe we have done 26 of these so far, and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. It truly is a locals’ favorite.
And then we had a great auction, which was only possible, because folks cared enough to donate items and services. Those folks include Tommy Knocker Gutter Service, Skyline Steel, Anne Tobey, Dixie Clare, The Clark family, Steve & Karen Zoellner, John & Miki Freeman, Creations Everlasting, Maudie’s Incredibile Emporium, Dave Brown Team, Western Skies Design, Two Mile High Club, Boiler Room Tavern, Cassie Rice, The Grand Peak Spa, Cripple Creek Liquor, Kim Lotting, Jim & Tonya Martin, and Charles Frizzel. Because of this fine group, the auction cleared over $6,000. We sure hope we didn’t forget anybody and believe us it wasn’t on purpose, all donations we so appreciated.
Again, thank you to all our supporters who buy tickets before we are even ready, you are amazing. See you in March 7, 2026.
Charlotte Bumgarner, Old Homestead House Museum
