Election Day, 2024. This week’s TMJ presents full details of the unofficial, preliminary results from the Nov. 5 election that generated a record turnout. The presidential election showcased many key seats, including the race for the Oval office, along with big state and national contests (deciding which party controls the U.S. House and Senate), and whether the Democratic Party in Colorado wins a supermajority regarding legislative positions. But probably more importantly, the election results were capped by a slew of significant local and state ballot propositions, having big impacts for the Woodland Park RE-2 School District and the local WP ambulance company. See related stories in this week’s TMJ.
