Vahsholtz Family Day in Woodland Park, Thursday, June 27, 2024.
In recognition of their legendary contributions, the City is proud to announce that on Thursday, June 27, 2024, the Mayor and City Council will read an official Proclamation at a regularly scheduled City Council meeting declaring Thursday, June 27, 2024, as Vahsholtz Family Day. To mark the occasion, the community is cordially invited to join the Mayor, City Council, city staff, and the Vahsholtz family at City Hall for an exciting, family-friendly meet-and-greet event! Vahsholtz Family Day is a free event. All ages are welcome to attend.
Community members and racing fans will have the opportunity to view a Vahsholtz team race car and meet the legends, Clint and Codie Vahsholtz, along with their families. Interactive games will be available, with fun prizes for children. Guests will have opportunities to view awards and trophies, make memories at the selfie station, and spend time with friends, neighbors, and fellow racing enthusiasts.
The event begins at 5:30 PM outside City Hall at 220 W. South Avenue, Woodland Park, Colorado. At 6:30 PM, guests are invited to attend the regularly scheduled City Council meeting, where the Mayor and Council will announce the official Proclamation. The Council and guests will be treated to a display of racing photos and video clips, highlighting some of the most memorable moments in Vahsholtz family racing history and the Pikes Peak Hill Climb event from years past.
The Vahsholtz Family has significantly contributed to the racing world and the Woodland Park community, and the City of Woodland Park is proud to recognize their achievements.
