On Saturday, January 6, 2024 at approximately 8:58 PM, officers responded to 722 Country Drive (Microtel Inn and Suites) for a report of an armed robbery. The hotel employee stated a white male wearing a ski mask and an Amazon jacket carrying an orange bag entered the hotel and brandished a black handgun. The suspect left the hotel with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.
Further investigation revealed the suspect arrived to the scene and fled in a vehicle. The make and model on the vehicle is unknown but it’s possibly a dark sedan that left the scene in an unknown direction.
