Charlie was a great man. Born and raised in Teller County, well known and beloved by all. He graduated in the class of ’76 from Cripple Creek Victor High School. He played guitar for the Phantom Canyon Band, whether it be the Victor Elks Club or the 4-mile dance hall, a local bar, or just in the middle of the street for Gold Rush Days. He was a proud Marine, Gunsmith, Miner, worked in the casinos in Cripple Creek and was even a pretty darn good cook. He worked hard and selflessly his whole life and finally became a Federal Mining Inspector. He was a loving Husband, a Father of 2 and a happy Grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Beth, his son Bobby, his daughter Renee, brother Mark and sister Debbie along with several grandchildren.

Charlie’s celebration of life will be held Oct 23rd at 1 pm at the 4-MILE Dance hall.
