Richard Stanley Duncan JR, a long-time resident who has strong ties in Cripple Creek, passed away on January 10, 2021. Rich, 74, died of congestive heart failure.
Richard Duncan was born on Sept. 11, 1941 in Hot Springs, South Dakota. On Sept, 5, 1982, Rich married Karen Rene Parks in Cripple Creek. Richard Stanley Duncan served in the Navy and was a Jet Engine Mechanic and had a career in the gold mining industry and became a MSHA instructor
Favorite Memories
A few years back Rich started smoking cigars and boy did he love a good cigar. He also loved fishing at his favorite place, Bison.

Rich had many family ties in Cripple Creek. This includes his wife, Karen Rene (Parks) Duncan Cripple Creek, CO; son, Richard Stanley Duncan III, Cripple Creek, CO; brothers, Michael Duncan and wife Beth, Green Bay, WI, Nick Duncan and wife Jenny, Greeley, CO; sister, Rhonda Duncan, Cripple Creek, CO; niece, Brittany Duncan; nephew, Cody Duncan; great niece: Amali; and great nephew, Timmy, Greeley, CO.
Rich is predeceased in death by his parents, Richard Stanley Duncan (Father); and Ethylene Virginia (Coon) Duncan (Mother).
