Many residents braved the cold weather to attend a remembrance vigil for Kelsey Berreth, who was brutally murdered two years ago in her home in Woodland Park. The vigil was held in Memorial Park and featured speakers from law enforcement 
officials and victims’ advocate professionals. Her death sparked an outcry from many people in the area, and from the business community. The case commanded the national spotlight for months, eventually leading to the arrest and conviction of her former fiancé, Patrick Frazee, for murder and other crimes. The vigil followed stern COVID-precautions and social distancing requirements.
