In this tumultuous and divisive time, the annual 9/11 Memorial in Woodland Park provided a moment to, not only pause and reflect on the tragedy but also harken back to a time when our country was united. In this divisive political climate, the event and the crowd were devoid of politics. However, in a sign of the times, the Woodland Park Schooling Choir wasn’t able to perform as a result of COVID guidelines. Their absence provided for the crowd delivering a heartfelt version of American the Beautiful.
