The Shining Mountain Golf Club last Saturday kicked off a series of indoor golf contests through its highly advance simulator machine, allowing players to challenge some of the best holes and courses in the world. The winner last week of the inaugural indoor golf contest was TMJ’s Rick Langenberg, who attributed his success to Oklahoma coaching tips from John Jones, in knocking a shot several feet from the hole. Actually, it was winter luck. The next indoor golf event at Shining Mountain is scheduled for Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. For more information, call 719-687-7587.
