The weekend is here and you’re ready for a good time off-roading around Teller County, but your bike won’t start and your kid forgot her helmet. No worries. Stop by Big D Motorsports in Woodland Park, and they’ll get you rolling again.

Big D Motor Sports is a local family run business owned by Daniel and Becky Duncan. They will help you stay safe, legal, and comfortable on the trails. Avid riders themselves, they offer sales, service, and accessories for dirt bikes, ATV’s, and snowmobiles at their store near the corner of State Highway 67 and Lorraine Ave.

If you’re looking for a new ride, Big D Motorsports sells Husqvarna dirt bikes, Arctic Cat snowmobiles, and Arctic Cat ATV’s. If you need accessories to go with your favorite toys, they have everything you need from trail maps to spark arresters. Big D is also the best place to get your summer and winter riding gear and helmets.

“We are here for you after the sale,” said Becky Duncan. “A lot of our customers have become our friends.”

Big D Motorsports is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. seven days a week, including on the weekends when other dealers are closed. To keep you riding, they offer parts, service, and tire repair for most makes and models of bikes, ATV’s, and sleds. They carry universal parts like oils, filters, and plugs to get you through the weekend.

Not only does Big D Motorsports provide everything a rider needs, they also back it up with great service. The Duncan’s were recognized by Arctic Cat as the #1 customer service provider in the nation after their first year in business in 2010, and their lead service technician, Todd Owens, just got his gold certification from Arctic Cat snowmobiles. He is now the only tech with this cert on the Front Range. Owens has worked on snowmobiles for 21 years, including two years at the Polaris factory.

“We sincerely care about making you happy and keeping you riding,” said Daniel Duncan. ‘We are riders ourselves and we love what we do.”

Daniel grew up riding in the Woodland Park area. He and Becky actively support the community through their involvement in motorsports. For example, they sponsor racers in Harry Roamer’s Ice Races. This great annual family event happens every Sunday in January at Rainbow Falls Park north of Woodland Park. The Duncan’s also support the Pink Ribbon Riders, the Community Partnership Family Resource Center, D.A.R.E., and the Woodland Park Fire Department. First responders and military service members receive 10% off their purchases at Big D Motorsports.

Before your next ride, be sure to visit Big D Motorsports. They are located at 180 CO Hwy 67, Unit A, in Woodland Park, or you can reach them by phone at (719) 687-7228 or email at
