An unusual structure at the eastern edge of Divide may have caught your eye recently, the new dome building at Above Treeline Construction. The dome is an example of just one of several new products and services that they now have available.

Steve and Monica Copp and Dennis and Kayla Johnstone, the owners of Above Treeline Construction and Advantage Log homes, have partnered with Dave Falasco of Dome Creations, Inc. to offer the dome structures, which can be adapted to suit multiple purposes from an art studio to a greenhouse. Above Treeline is also working with Andy Hanson of Hanson Spas to offer area residents the best in hot tubs and spa products.

Also new at Above Treeline Construction is their real estate sales department, Mossy Oak Properties. They can help you find and purchase the perfect piece of land to build your mountain dream home. Kathleen, Rick and Michel Fisk of Nimrod’s Guns are partners with Above Treeline Construction as well, offering everything the marksman needs at their location in the Above Treeline Construction office and showroom in Divide.

These new services are a natural extension of the many options that Steve Copp and Dennis Johnstone already provide to prospective new home owners or to those looking to improve their present home. Between the two, they have 30 years of construction business experience, and offer a multitude of home construction and remodeling services right here close to home in Teller County.

For example, Above Treeline Construction offers a complete array of building contractor services including new construction or remodeling of commercial buildings, log homes, frame homes, structural insulated panel or SIP’s homes, modular homes, steel buildings, and pole barns. They can do dirt work too, including excavation projects like driveways and septic tanks, or paint or stain your building.

However, what sets Above Treeline Construction & Advantage Log Homes apart from other builders is that they also provide a broad array of home products at their retail showroom. Because they are retailers themselves, they can save you money on your home projects. You will also save the time, gas, and high delivery fees you would lose by buying in the city. Some of the products they offer include solar energy systems, kitchens by Dewil’s, fireplaces, and WeatherShield windows. If you need new cabinets, or even log furniture, you can find them there.

Above Treeline Construction can be found at the corner of U.S. Highway 24 and Tranquil Acres Road at 12625 West U.S. Highway 24 in Divide. They are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, and closed on Sunday.
