Summary of Springer Fire A wildfire in Park County 3 miles south of Lake George, CO on the Pike National Forest, approximately 2 miles North of 11 Mile Reservoir.

The fire was reported to the Pueblo Interagency Dispatch at approximately 12:00 p.m. on Sunday June17, 2012. Firefighters are in the initial attack operations at this. There are 40 plus firefighters assigned to the incident. Size-up Information: The fire was first reported 2-4 acres at 1:00 p.m. but has increased since then. A type 3 team has been ordered. Cause: Unknown Kind of Fuels: Ponderosa Pine Jurisdiction: USFS Cooperating Agencies: Park County Management Strategies: Contain fire and do not subject firefighters to unsafe conditions.
