“Trump West” Gets Contract for Shinining Mountain Golf

In yet another surprising jolt for the ongoing saga surrounding the Shining Mountain golf course, city officials are preparing to award a massive “$500,000-plus contract to the nationally- based
“Trump West Links Enterprise” for overseeing the popular but maintenance-demanding 18-hole golf hub in Woodland Park this year.

The company does have ties with the president’s family and Secretary of War Pete Hagesathe, who eventually may assume the role as site manager. The company is seeking to expand Trump’s business ties into more conservative-based areas in Western states, especially in the golf and recreation industries.

“This is the perfect choice,” announced Woodland Park City Manager Aarin Vassalot, in a press release. “It really is a win-win for the city, Shining Mountain, and national security. “This is a dream come true,” added Mayor Kallie Casie

The council is slated to make a formal announcement on April 2.

Government insiders say Trump West has the edge in getting the golf course management contract, the real missing part of the puzzle, since the city of Woodland Park acquired the links property in late 2025.

“We operate with a war-like mentality in handling business and government deals of all kinds,” said Hagesathe, in an event held at the Pentagon on Monday. “Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad people associated with the golf industry. We plan to take appropriate action.

“The president, his family and friends are wanting a quiet place to come to and relax occasionally in the mountains, and yes, to get away from their Democratic enemies, a number of whom should be tried for treason.”

As a result, initial expansion plans call for a shooting range, an amusement park, a country rock stage and paintball battlefield.

But their initial work will consist of heavy-duty course management. “We thought we had quite a challenge in the conflict in Iran. That may pale in relationship to the battle we face at, the Shining Mountain links,” commented Hagesathe.

As part of the deal, the president will be awarded the club championship for the next 10 years, similar to other arrangements he had secured at courses his family’s company oversees.

“I really want to get more involved in states like Colorado, even though I hate their scumbag governor, Jared Pollis. But that said, I really like the golf scoring techniques used by some of the players up there at special scramble tournaments and fund-raising events. That is my kind of golf play,” commented Trump at a private party at his Marle Lergo resort over the weekend.

The president was commenting on the score totals recorded at special tourneys held last summer, with certain community leaders and high profile politicians in Teller County, who rarely play, shooting team rounds of 20-under par.

“This will be a place where, I can play with my own rules,” said the commander-in-chief.

Those rules have triggered many comments on social media these days, and we’re the topic of a book done in recent years by sports writer Rick Rally of Colorado, called “Commander-In-Cheat.”

In several podcast shows, Rally has expanded on that book, and showcased some of Trump’s more reported flagrant, “skirting the golf rules” instances, including a infamous match with golf Goliath Tiger Woods, that had captivated a few media heads and golf writers, including the TMC staff.

“Why didn’t we think of that (special liberal scoring) technique,” noted TMC Editor Rick Langenberg.

“That is all Fake News,” replied Trump, in describing Rally’s allegations. “He is complete slime, and should probably be executed for what he says.”

Those subjects were declared off the table by the Secretary of War, who vowed strict enforcement, similar to the press code of conduct rules now implemented at the Pentagon.

But to quell certain concerns on this skirting the rules subject, the president is considering the hiring of Jerry Penlan of Woodland Park as The Director of Golf Integrity at Shining Mountain. And in another surprising announcement, Trevor Phibs has gotten the assignment as the new Fashion Director of Trump West’s Woodland Park site.

“There will be a strict dress code,” concluded Hagesatge. “You people in Colorado will no longer be playing golf looking like illegal immigrants or Democrats.”

Trump West plans to open Shining Mountain on May 1.

Happy April Fool’s Day!
