Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of its 2025 Annual Awards, honoring outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations whose leadership, service, and commitment have strengthened Woodland Park and Teller County.
Award recipients will be formally recognized at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner on Friday, March 6.
“Each year we are reminded of the incredible depth of leadership, generosity, and community spirit that exists in Teller County through the myriad of nominations we receive,” said Chamber President Debbie Miller. “Our award winners represent the very best of who we are as a community.”
Nominations opened in November and were evaluated by an independent panel of out-of-state judges to ensure an impartial selection process.
2025 Award Recipients
Volunteer of the Year — Cathy Skiles Cathy Skiles is honored for decades of dedicated volunteer service across numerous nonprofit organizations. Known for her behind-the-scenes leadership, financial expertise, and unwavering commitment, Cathy’s impact is felt throughout the region. “Cathy gives her time and talents selflessly and consistently,” said Chamber Board Chair Aaron Degani. “Her quiet leadership has strengthened countless organizations and lives.”
Non-Profit of the Year — UCHealth Pikes Peak Regional Hospital UCHealth Pikes Peak Regional Hospital is honored for advancing rural healthcare through innovation, excellence, and collaboration. In 2025, the hospital earned national recognition for quality and launched life-saving initiatives such as the Whole Blood Resuscitation Program serving Teller County. “UCHealth PPRH continues to raise the bar for rural healthcare while keeping patients and community first,” said former Chamber Board Chair Mark Maruszak. “We are fortunate to have such an exceptional healthcare partner.”
Employee of the Year — Kip Wiley Kip Wiley, Utilities Director for the city of Woodland Park, is recognized for exemplary leadership, innovation, and stewardship of essential infrastructure. His work ensures long-term water sustainability, reliable services, and thoughtful growth planning for the community. “Kip’s leadership reflects integrity, accountability, and a deep commitment to public service,” said Miller. “He represents the very best of what this award stands for.”
Business of the Year — Zebz OutFooter Zebz OutFooter is recognized for meeting a critical retail need in Woodland Park while demonstrating exceptional customer service, local investment, and workforce development. Since opening in 2022, the business has experienced consistent growth, provided employment opportunities for local youth, and enhanced downtown vibrancy. “Zebz OutFooter exemplifies what it means to operate a successful small business rooted in community values,” said Miller. “Their commitment to service, integrity, and local impact sets a high standard.”
Wagon Boss Award — Dan Williams The Chamber’s highest honor, the Wagon Boss Award, is presented to Dan Williams for a lifetime of service defined by integrity, mentorship, and civic leadership. From veteran advocacy and youth mentorship to nonprofit leadership and community stewardship, Williams exemplifies servant leadership. “Dan Williams defines what it means to be a Wagon Boss,” said Aaron Degani. “He leads with humility, earns trust, and makes a lasting difference without seeking recognition.”
