Teller County Releases New Documentary

Last week, we released a documentary created by the Teller County Sheriff’s Office about the Teller County Cares Food Initiative; an initiative the resilience of our food aid providers and the caring of the residents of Teller County and the surrounding areas made successful.

November 2025 was a time when Teller County shined brightly in coming together when SNAP benefits failed. This documentary is intended to be a Thank You to the residents, businesses, and organizations of Teller County and the surrounding areas for their participation in the Teller County Cares Food Initiative. We extend out thanks to the people we helped for believing in us. We also extend our thanks to the people, businesses, and organizations who came together to give time, money, and supplies to make sure we all were taken care of when the crisis occurred. And we extend our thanks to those who received help, and when they became stable, turned around and gave for those still in need.

The people interviewed for this documentary were all enthusiastic and emotional when sitting down to talk. Some excitedly sat on the edges of their seats while we talked. Some grew emotional with tears coming to their eyes. Some had both reactions. And all of them were proud to be in a Teller County whose residents allowed a plan like ours to be wildly successful.

The documentary will be available on our YouTube Page at https://youtu.be/G9wZn1cQ_b8.

It will also be available on our Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/tellersheriff.

We are proud to be TellerStrong.
