Bronc Day Festival. One of Colorado’s most beloved small-town festivals returns this summer with a full day of family-friendly fun, western heritage, and community spirit. The 87th Annual Bronc Day Festival will take place Saturday, July 26, 2025 in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado. With a nostalgic presentation of the town’s past and a lively celebration of the present, the festival offers something for all ages, from vintage cars to the always-popular rubber duck races. The day kicks off with a parade at 10:00 AM, followed by a full day of festivities including live music, old-fashioned kids’ games, a pie contest, food trucks, and local vendors. This year’s event is special as it celebrates the 135th anniversary of Green Mountain Falls (1890–2025). Nestled in the foothills of Pikes Peak, Green Mountain Falls offers a picturesque backdrop for this free, family-friendly event. Bronc Day has delighted generations of locals and visitors since 1939. Famously started by local legend, Sallie Bush—publisher of one of the area’s earliest newspapers, the Ute Pass Echo, and whose name is memorialized on the Sallie Bush Community Building—Bronc Day is one of the area’s oldest traditions. The event prides itself on its authentic Colorado charm—with horses, cowboy hats, and western music and dancing.

Admission is free, and details are available at www.broncdayfestival.org. The festival is organized by Building Ute Pass Community (BUPC), a local nonprofit whose mission is to unite the Ute Pass Community by providing meaningful cultural, social and historical events/
