Aiden Hernandez Obituary

In Loving Memory of Aiden Hernandez

June 12, 2005 – May 29, 2025

Aiden Hernandez, age 19, of Woodland Park, Colorado, passed away on May 29, 2025. Born in Colorado Springs on June 12, 2005, to Amber and Alex Hernandez, Aiden was a beloved son, brother, and soon-to-be father whose vibrant spirit touched all who knew him.

Aiden grew up in Woodland Park, where he attended Woodland Park High School. A talented athlete, he was known on the football field as “The Beast,” a nickname earned through his passion, strength, and dedication to the game. To his family, he was their football star, always pushing himself to be his best.

Affectionately called “Ena” by his loved ones, Aiden brought joy and energy into every room he entered. He was a devoted son, a cherished brother to Alexandrea Hernandez, and an excited uncle-to-be to Aaliyah. Aiden was surrounded by a large and loving extended family: grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends, all of whom will deeply miss his presence.

Aiden shared a profound love with Michaela Boring, the love of his life and the mother of his soon-to-be-born son, Zion Hernandez. He was preparing to be an incredible father and partner, ready to build a beautiful life full of love, adventure, and devotion.

Aiden lived life to the fullest. Whether he was jumping off cliffs, climbing mountains on camping trips, or swimming across Pueblo Reservoir, he approached every adventure with a fearless heart and a bright smile. Even during difficult times, Aiden’s focus was always on lifting others and making the most of every moment.

A standing room-only funeral was held for Aiden earlier this month. Jess’ Place in downtown Woodland Park (104 E. Midland Ave.) will be holding a special memorial fundraising pool tournament with all proceeds going to the Hernandez Family on June 21. Aiden’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.
