The Gold Belt Byway and Planning Team cordially invites the public to attend informative and interactive meetings later this month, aimed at shaping the future of a trail connector between Cripple Creek and Canon City.
These gatherings will serve as crucial platforms for the dissemination of vital information, the collection of valuable feedback, and discussions about the next steps in this significant project.
With the goal of fostering community engagement and inclusivity, the Gold Belt Byway and Planning Team seeks to involve residents and stakeholders in the decision-making process. Attendees are encouraged to share their ideas, provide input, and express their thoughts, as their contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping the trail’s development.
Throughout the planning process, careful consideration is being given to various factors including cultural resources, environmental impacts, terrain conditions, and more. The input gathered from community members will help ensure that these considerations are thoroughly addressed, resulting in a trail connector that aligns with the needs and values of the local community.
