First City of Cripple Creek City Council Meeting with Mayor Durham
Being a resident of Cripple Creek for over 16 years now, I just want to comment on the first city council meeting led by our new Mayor Annie Durham.
It was a breath of fresh air to see such a poised, professional, and educated chairperson leading this first meeting. As her first, she showed no hesitation nor need for any direction in following proper procedures. She swiftly and professionally went through the agenda like a pro. Mayor Durham has obviously done her homework in preparing for her role as our new city leader.
I can say that I am very proud that the registered voters of Cripple Creek saw the same opportunity to improve the city council meeting performance by electing Annie Durham.
