It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Danielle Susan Gallant, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 34. Born on January 25, 1989, Danielle lived a full life full of adventure, love, and vibrant experiences. Danielle leaves behind her parents, Karen S. Gallant and Marcos Xagoraris, grandparents, Rith Gallant and Elias (the late Xanthi) Xagoraris, siblings, Marcos Xagoraris and Maria Bucholtz, aunts, Darlene O’Meara, Sandy (Jim) Daly, and Lori Rybicki and uncle, Stavros Xagoraris.
Danielle was a free spirit who had an insatiable wanderlust. She embarked on countless journeys, exploring the corners of the world and immersing herself in different cultures. She was living with her dad on the island of Santorini in Greece at the time of her passing. Among her many passions, Danielle had an undeniable love for music and dancing, she could often be found swaying to the rhythm of her favorite tunes. Her love for music was infectious, and she shared her passion with those around her, spreading joy wherever she went.
Family was an integral part of Danielle’s life, and she cherished the moments spent with her loved ones. The bond she shared with her family was unbreakable, and the joy she experienced while surrounded by her loved ones was immeasurable. Playing badminton with her mother created lasting memories of laughter and friendly competition. Danielle was proud of her Greek heritage. She radiated elegance and grace, carrying her cultural roots with immense pride. She embraced her ancestry, celebrating the rich history and traditions that shaped her identity……including her nose and freckles.
Danielle Susan Gallant will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her. Her adventurous spirit, love for life, and zest for exploration will forever remain on our hearts. As we bid farewell to Danielle, we take comfort in the memories we shared and the knowledge that she lived life to the fullest, leaving an indelible mark on our souls. May her spirit continue to dance among the stars, and may her memory inspire us to embrace each day with the same joy she did.
A celebration of life for Danielle will be held at the Cripple Creek Heritage Center Lower Level on October 3, 2023 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
