During a rainy night under the Friday Night Lights the Panthers kicked off their 2023 season on August 25. Due to heavy rain forecasts, the game started an hour early, but the boys still had to play in chilly and wet conditions.
The Panther Defense held tough most of the game, but they allowed just a little too many touchdowns. However, the boys played hard with their hearts in the game and they will be looking to improve next week and beyond.
Next week the Panthers hit the road and travel south to take on the Salida Spartans.
