Wellness Walk. Scheduled for March 1 at the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center at 9 a.m. Meet at the upper level and choose a one, two or three-mile hike. Maps are available. Healthy living tips and mindfulness exercises to enhance your walk. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water. Free admission.

Teller County Playgroup, hosted by Community Partnership at 701 Gold Hill Place in Woodland Park, is FREE to any Parent or Caregiver with children ages 5 & under. Older siblings welcome.
Come meet a great group of friends for you and your little one! Exchange wisdom and support with other parents while exploring the world with your child through music, movement, arts and crafts, free play, story-time, field trips, and themed structured activities. Meeting three times a week, Playgroup offers opportunities for developmental screenings, school readiness assessments, and information on local resources. Butte Theater Community Performances. The Frog Prince community show will be hosted at the Butte Theater on March 3, with times scheduled for 1 and 5 p.m. It is being produced by the Missoula Children’s Theater. Auditions for the performances recently occurred at Cresson Elementary. This is part of an active schedule of community performances at the Butte from now through the middle of May. Pearl’s Follies. Pearl’s Follies is the annual fundraiser for the Old Homestead House. It is scheduled for March 4 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Old Homestead House Museum. Best of Cripple Creek and the Teller High County. Don’t forget to partake in the annual Best Of 2023 contest, sponsored by TMJ. Voting ends early this week. This Best Of contest has been yearly tradition, which began shortly after gaming started in Cripple Creek. The grand winners and finalists will be announced shortly. Woodland Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Pub/Food Crawl. Scheduled for March 11, this is the fourth annual event celebrating the wearing of the green and this festive time. The parade will start at noon on Henrietta Ave at Memorial Park, turn right at Fairview St., left on Midland Ave. and right onto Baldwin, finishing at the intersection of Baldwin and Pikes Peak Ave. in front of Gateway Elementary. In conjunction with the parade, several local businesses will be offering specials on food and drink with the purchase of a Pub Crawl stamp card on the same day. Chamber Gala. Join us for the Greater Woodland Park Chamber Gala. This annual event is scheduled for March 17 as we celebrate & recognize our Chamber Members and special award-winner.
