Supporting Area Veterans and Youth/Patriotic Programs

The American Legion’s Eric V Dickson Post 1980 and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1980 are hosting their annual Pig Roast and Silent Auction fundraiser. This will enable us to continue to support our veterans, our youth, and patriotic programs and activities within our wonderful city of Woodland Park and the Pikes Peak region.

This important community event will happen on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Crystola Roadhouse, Crystola, Colorado. There will be lots of great food and good fellowship at a reasonable price for a good cause.

Our Post and Auxiliary actively support community programs and activities such as:

  • Veterans and Active-Duty
  • Veterans Day Dinner and Celebration
  • High School Scholarships
  • Veterans Nursing Home, Florence, CO
  • 4-H Shooting Club
  • Blue Star Moms & Memorials
  • Boys State & Girls State (high school citizenship programs)
  • Independence Day Celebration
  • American Legion Summer Baseball
  • Honor guards for Parades and Community Events
  • Memorial Day Remembrance
  • 9-11 Remembrance
  • Welcome Home Warriors
  • Heroes Pack
  • Community Partnership in Woodland Park

We would be honored if you would consider making a contribution to our fund-raising event by donating cash, gift certificates, or merchandise. In turn, we will recognize your business at the Pig Roast and Silent Auction as well as on our website.
