While not in the national or even state spotlight the small Town of Green Mountain Falls Colorado is actively responding to the needs of its citizens during the COVID-19 outbreak, and has joined the rest of the State and most of the Nation in declaring a state of emergency to address the pandemic. The Town Website homepage https://www.colorado.gov/greenmountainfalls has become a repository for information for those who live within the Town as well as those who may have questions.
Town Staff is working diligently, in cooperation with local and national partners and the Board of Trustees, town business and individuals to get out information on state and federal options to alleviate hardships that may be occurring. One of those partners is the Church in the Wildwood and Pastor Darlene Avery revdar@church-in-the-wildwood.org who is focusing on individual needs of citizens.
Town Hall is closed to walk-in traffic as the town is deeply concerned for the welfare of employees and citizens alike but will be available by phone or email during normal working hours which are 8:30-5 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, also 1-5 on Wednesday.
The phone number for Town Hall is 719-684-9414 and the Marsha’s Office is 719-684-9415. In the case of emergency, please dial 911 or for urgent response that is not of an emergency level please call the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 719-390-5555.
