A Healing Journey And Performance

International, multi-award-winning entertainer John Tesh took the stage at Charis Bible College on March 11 to talk to students and staff about his healing journey after being diagnosed with cancer. The former Entertainment Tonight show anchor and acclaimed pianist went through a three-year battle with the disease. With doctors telling him that he only had eight months to live, Tesh tried every type of procedure including chemotherapy. But with the cancer continuing to come back, Tesh says reading the book “A Better Way to Pray,” by Teller County resident Andrew Wommack, led him to focus his faith in God, which he asserts publicly resulted in a complete recovery. Now through his music, Tesh wants to share his testimony during a free concert to the public at Charis Bible College on April 25th at 7PM. This show, John Tesh Live in Concert: Songs and Stories from the Grand Piano, is a part of an upcoming PBS special and nationwide tour that some have called the “show of a lifetime.” The show will also feature the UK worship band, The Moment, led by Dave Bell.
