The Colorado Rockies have once again found themselves in contention for the National League West title with a sweep of the San Francisco Giants on July 4, courtesy of a rare pitchers’ duel.  The Rocks won by a 1-0 margin, largely due to the amazing pitching performance of Tyler Anderson and a clutch home run by Chris Iannetta. It marked only the 10th game at Coors, regarded as a home run paradise, that resulted in a 1-0 score. Colorado clinched its fifth consecutive series win as of yesterday, all against teams with records above .500. It’s the first time the Rockies have done that in franchise history.
