The Wildwood Casino is one of Cripple Creek’s premiere gaming destinations.
The Wildwood opened in the summer of 2008 and became the only casino located near the entrance to Cripple Creek off Hwy. 67, in an area often regarded as the “Gateway to Cripple Creek.” Since its debut, the Wildwood Casino has gained quite a reputation for its more Las Vegas-style look and an establishment with a bevy of amenities. In addition, the Wildwood has won a number of awards from publications in the region.
The Wildwood features 58,000 square-feet of gaming action with more than 500 slot machines, live action poker, blackjack, craps, roulette and more all on one level. The addition of the new Wildwood Turf Club, which opened in the spring of 2015, offers off-track betting options on a daily basis from 16 tracks across the country for horse, dog and harness racing. It has been a big hit. The Wildwood Turf Club is the only off-track betting area offered inside a Colorado casino.
Guests also can take advantage of a convenient 225,000 square-foot enclosed climate-controlled parking garage with direct access to the gaming floor.
The casino’s diverse dining options include Mavericks Buffet, Saddle Bar, the Salty Lime, a new Mexican restaurant, and the ac Borriello Brothers Pizza.
Gold King Inn by Wildwood, a 67-room hotel, provides on-site accommodations and amenities including Cripple Creek’s only indoor pool and complimentary shuttle service. The casino also completed work on the first new major convenience store and gas station hub at the entrance to Cripple Creek. Last winter, the Gas N’ Roll by Wildwood officially opened for business. Gas N’ Roll features a large gas station and a 3,500-square-foot convenience store area and a liquor store, right next to the casino.
This provides more services for community residents and visitors. It serves as the sole convenience hub for visitors along the main entrance to town. The store and gas station is opened on a 24/7 basis.
