U.S. Marshals Arrest One Of Colorado’s Most Wanted Sex Offenders in Mexico

Denver– Members of the Colorado Violent Offenders Task Force, in conjunction with Mexican law enforcement, arrested Aaron Alexander Graham, 33, on Wednesday in Cancun, Mexico. Graham was located in a Mexican Prison in Cancun, Mexico on August 25, 2015. He was deported by Mexican Immigration Officials after they learned that Graham was wanted in the United States. Mexican authorities were acting on information developed by U.S. Marshals in Denver, Colorado.
“The arrest of Graham in Mexico underscores our commitment to pursuing these dangerous predators regardless of where they’re located,” said U.S. Marshal Ken Deal. Graham is wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant from August 2007 for Sex Assault on a Child. Graham is also wanted by the Lakewood Police Department for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender on a warrant from November 2007. Graham was turned over to U.S. Marshals’ custody in Miami, Florida on August 26, 2015.
Graham was booked into the Miami-Dade County Jail, he is expected to appear at the Miami-Dade Circuit Criminal Court tomorrow where he will face extradition back to Colorado.
