A bevy of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, highlighted by parades and Irish festivities, will be held in Colorado Springs, Denver and Teller County throughout the weekend. On March 15, the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Colorado Springs, held downtown, begins atnoon. The celebration also incudes an annual 5K run at 10 am. The big parade in Denver begins at 19th and Wynkoop onMarch 15 at 9:30 am (near Union Station) and exits near Coors Field. It is the biggest St. Patty’s procession in the country, west of the Mississippi, and continues for hours. Meanwhile, the McGinty’s Wood Oven Pub in Divide will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with bagpipers, singing and Irish fare featured all weekend.
