Bart Daniel, president of Landmark Earth Solutions inc.,along with Chris Thornton, the director of engineering of Colorado State University, showed their expertise last Friday at a residence in the Ute Pass in the path of extreme flood run-off from the burn area. With the looming danger of the potential for massive run off in the area, Earth Solutions demonstrated some viable alternatives for endangered property owners in the Ute Pass. “We are prepared to supply necessary services to the community, whether it be private citizens, businesses, state or local governments,” noted Daniels. The next flood mitigation meeting in the lower Ute Pass is scheduled for April 22 at the Ute Pass Elementary School, starting at 6:30 p.m.
