14 year old girl is safe tonight after a man tried to kidnap her earlier this afternoon in Woodland Park. Police say it happened along west Kelleys Rd today around 2:10 p.m. Police say the man was driving an SUV similar to the one pictured in this story. Investigators say the man stopped near her and opened the door and motioned for her to get into the vehicle.
The teen grabbed her cellphone which caused the suspect to drive away at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was last by the child driving northbound on Chippewa Tl. The suspect is described as a younger age male, no other description available.
