America’s Mountain Festival Celebrates Successful Second Year

Organizers of the second annual America’s Mountain Festival are expressing their gratitude to the attendees, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, performers, and community partners who helped make this year’s event a success.

Held July 11 in Woodland Park, the family-friendly festival featured nationally recognized country music artists Aaron Watson, Jenna Paulette, Walker Montgomery, Tyce Delk, the Matt Skinner Band, and America’s Mountain Festival Songwriters’ Competition winner Kenya Reese. The event also included food vendors, merchant booths, a Frontier Kids’ Zone, community exhibits, and activities celebrating the spirit of the Pikes Peak region.

“We are extremely grateful for the support shown by the community and visitors from across Colorado and beyond,” said Michael Perini, Public Relations and Marketing Director. “This event was created to bring people together, celebrate our mountain heritage, and create an experience that benefits the entire community. We believe we accomplished that goal.”

Festival organizers noted that social media reaction following the event has been positive, with attendees sharing photos, videos, and comments praising the entertainment lineup, family atmosphere, and community spirit. Organizers continue to monitor feedback and compile data on reaction and event performance.

In keeping with the festival’s community-focused mission, a portion of event proceeds supported local nonprofit organizations, Northeast Teller County Fire Protection District and Rifles 2 Reins.

A formal after-action assessment will take place in the coming weeks, Perini said

“Producing an event of this scale takes months of planning and the support of countless people working behind the scenes,” said Perini. “Right now, we’re taking a moment to appreciate what was accomplished, celebrate the community that made it possible, and enjoy a brief pause before we begin looking ahead.”

Additional photos, videos, and event highlights will be released in the coming days through the festival’s social media channels and website.
