WHITESNAKE, founded and formed by DEEP PURPLE signer, David Coverdale, has launched their 2015 “THE PURPLE TOUR” which features their biggest hits and songs from their new tribute album.

Concluding their FOREVERMORE WORLD TOUR in 2013, WHITESNAKE spent 2014 in the recording studio, producing the 12th studio opus, which is bound to surprise hardcore fans.

After leaving DEEP PURPLE in 1976, David Coverdale formed the original WHITESNAKE in 1978. The band’s early roots were in heavy blues-rock with albums such as ‘Trouble’, ‘LoveHunter’, ‘Ready And Willing’, and ‘Come An’ Get It’.

During the mid- 1980s WHITESNAKE revamped their sound to explosive hard rock with the eight-time platinum album ‘Slide It In’ and 1987’s self-titled, mega-million-selling, smash-hit album WHITESNAKE.

WHITESNAKE’s “THE PURPLE TOUR” features David Coverdale on vocals, Reb Beach (from Winger) and Joel Hoekstra (from Foreigner) playing guitar, Michael Devin on bass, and Tommy Aldridge (Black Oak Arkansas, Ozzy Osbourne, & Ted Nugent) playing the drums.

WHITESNAKE’s songs that have topped charts include ‘Give Me All Your Love’, ‘Here I go Again’, ‘Is This Love’, and ‘Still Of The Night’.
