Arthur Tremayne, one of an original family in Cripple Creek dating back to  the 1800’s has passed away at 97.  At one time he was the mayor of Cripple Creek, President of the School Board,  a 32nd degree mason, a district deputy to  the Grand Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge and was the renovator of the Cripple Creek Cemetery.  He will be missed.  A celebration of  life will be held on April 18 at noon at the Cripple Creek Elks Lodge.  The public is welcome.
