January 30

David Veren, 51, Woodland Park was arrested with two outstanding warrants. Mr. Veren was transported to the Teller County Jail on $252,000 bond. January 31 Samantha Hannappel, 17, Woodland Park and Nathaniel Dekonig, 36, Woodland Park were involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident with no injuries. Ms. Hannappel was issued a citation for turning left in front of approaching traffic.

February 1

A report of identity theft was taken in the 300 block of E. South Ave. Case is open pending further investigation. A report of harassment was taken in the 500 block of N. Center St. Case is open pending further investigation.

February 2

A report of theft was taken in the 19600 block of E. Highway 24. Case is open pending further investigation. Joseph Bingen, 48, Woodland Park was arrested for driving under the influence. Mr. Bingen was transported to the Teller County Jail on a $1,000 bond. A report of harassment was taken in the 1000 block of E. Highway 24. Case is open pending further investigation. Woodland Park police also responded to one outside agency assist and three private property traffic accidents.

February 7

Theodore Eaton, 21, Colorado Springs and Kellye Nelson, 46, Woodland Park were involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident with no injuries. Mr. Eaton was issued a citation for speeding. February 10 Gary Bieske, 53, Woodland Park, John Davis, 62, Colorado Springs and Todd Wisley, 37, Colorado Springs were involved in a three-vehicle traffic accident with minor injuries. Mr. Bieske was issued a citation for following too closely.

February 11

A report of trespassing and theft was taken in the 500 block of E. Highway 24. Case is open pending further investigation. Woodland Park police also responded to three private property traffic accidents.

February 13

A report of theft was taken in the 700 block of Gold Hill Pl. Case is open pending further investigation.

February 14

A report of criminal impersonation and crimes against at risk adults was taken in the 200 block of Eagle Pines Dr. Case is open pending further investigation. A report of identity theft and unauthorized use of financial transaction was taken in the 100 block of Red Rock Ct. Case is open pending further investigation.

February 16

A report of theft was taken in the 19000 block of E. Highway 24. Case is open pending further investigation. A report of harassment was taken in the 1100 block of Park View Rd. Case is open pending further investigation.

February 17

Milton Bork, 58, Woodland Park and Susan Elak, 54, Woodland Park were involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident with no injuries. Ryan Brandt, 23, Divide was arrested for menacing, false imprisonment and kidnapping. Mr. Brandt was transported to the Teller County Jail on a $250,000 bond.

February 19

Brian Kennedy, 27, Woodland Park was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, Driving with excessive alcohol content, Domestic Violence, assault, harassment and obstruction of telephone service. Mr. Kenney was transported to the Teller County Jail on a $3,000 bond. Woodland P ark police also responded to four private property traffic accidents and two outside agency assist.
