James Sywilliam Moss (1999-2024)

We announce with heavy hearts that James Sywilliam Moss suddenly passed away on November 4, 2024, in his home in Colorado Springs at age 25. James will be remembered as a kindhearted person who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Born in Colorado Springs, CO on April 1, 1999 James grew up in Colorado Springs and Woodland Park and graduated from Woodland Park High School in 2017. He was an animal lover who spent much of his time as an adult studying reptiles. When not out hiking or wrestling alligators, James was a hard worker who worked in the landscaping and lumber industries most of his life. He enjoyed adventures as well as spending time playing computer games and hanging out with his beloved friends and family.

James is survived by his mother Tammi Phipps; Step Father Bobby Snare; Father Donald Moss; Brother Tyler Moss; Step Sister Rushana Snare; Step Brother Alex Snare; Grandfather Mark Moss; Grandmother Lynn Phipps; Uncles Gene Moss, Zeph Moss and Trevor Phipps; aunt Elisabeth Moss, as well as several friends and extended family members.

The Celebration of Life and reception for James Moss will be held Sunday, December 8th. Please join us at Red Rocks Barn, 2700 Robinson St., Colorado Springs, CO 80904 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Please arrive early so service can get started at 1:00. There will be some food available but please bring a side, appetizer or dessert to share. Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic drinks will also be provided. No RSVP required.
