Gold Belt Tour Scenic Byway is excited to announce, ‘DOUBLE DOWN FOR THE BYWAY,” a special 2 event Disc Golf Tournament.
We had so much fun last year we decided to do it twice this year. So, join us for the first in the series on Saturday June 1st at the Gunslinger Disc Golf Course on County Road 3 A. A second round will be played September 14, at Alta Vista Disc Gold Ranch near Victor, CO if you want to be part of the lowest score trophy for both tournaments. Watch for more information on the second tournament coming soon.
The tournament is a doubles format with a shotgun start on the 9-hole course that runs through the beautiful Royal Gorge Ranch and Resort, just outside of Canon City, CO.
Registration is $80 per team with an optional $5 ace pot (if no ace is hit then all the money raised will go to the byway association, if more than one ace is hit then there will be a throw off for winner). Get your partner found and sign up at www.discgolfscene.com/
This is a trophy only event, with all proceeds going to help raise money for the Gold Belt Byway. All participants will receive a swag bag with gifts and a t-shirt, and additional door prizes available with purchase of ticket.
Lunch and award ceremony will be at the WHITEWATER bar and grill, just 2 miles from our course. It will be a delightful day to enjoy with your friends and family, while supporting an important non-profit.
Gold Belt Tour Scenic Byway was dedicated a State Historical Byway in 1989 and then a National Scenic Byway in 2000 featuring our special scenic views, adventurous routes, and unique historical features.
