Woodland Park High School Class of 2021 Sets Scholarship Record for the Teller County Region

The Woodland Park High School Class of 2021 continues to receive additional scholarships and acceptances into universities and colleges, according to high school officials.

“As of May 28, 2021, the total scholarship money awarded to the senior class of 2021 is $4,045,008.00,” according to Stefanie Merson, WPHS Counseling Department Secretary and Registrar.

 “This is pretty amazing, considering how WPHS students had to adjust their styles of learning during a global pandemic,” she said.

Several more students have been accepted to more colleges and universities that were previously reported.  Here are the new institutions:

Bellevue University

Kansas Wesleyan University

Massachusetts Maritime Academy

Mid-America Nazarene University

Oregon State University

University of Arizona

Western Washington University
