“Life is a corrupting process from the time a child learns to play his mother off against his father in the politics of when to go to bed; he who fears corruption fears life.” Saul Alinsky
The more numerous the laws, the more corrupt the government.” Publius Tacitus
“You can get anything you want at Alice’s Restaurant.” Arlo Guthrie, from the song Alice’s Restaurant
A little history for you history buff’s;

“Alice’s Restaurant” recounts Guthrie’s true, but comically exaggerated, Thanksgiving Day adventure as a satirical, deadpan protest against the Vietnam War draft. On November 25, 1965, the 18-year-old Guthrie and his friend Richard Robbins, 19, were arrested by Stockbridge police officer William “Obie” Obanhein for illegally dumping some of Alice’s garbage after discovering that the town dump was closed for the holiday. Two days later, they pleaded guilty in court before a blind judge, James E. Hannon. The song describes to ironic effect the arresting officer’s frustration at this “typical case of American blind justice,” in which the officer was prepared to present “27 8×10 color glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against us,” only to have the judge enter the courtroom accompanied by a seeing-eye dog. In the end, Guthrie and Robbins were fined $25 and told to pick up their garbage.

The song goes on to describe Guthrie’s being called up for the draft, and the surreal bureaucracy at the New York City induction center at 39 Whitehall Street.[2] Guthrie’s first stop is a physical examination, which he passes despite the lingering effects of getting drunk the night before. Guthrie is then sent for a psychological examination; in an attempt to portray himself as insane, he indicates to the psychiatrist that he is homicidal, which (to Guthrie’s disappointment) the examiner views favorably. In the final line of questioning before induction, the officer asks Guthrie about any record of arrests. Guthrie tells the story of the littering incident, which proves significant enough a criminal offense to potentially disqualify him from military service. He is first sent to the Group W bench, where those draftees wait who cannot be inducted except under a moral waiver, then are rejected as unfit for military service. The ironic punch line of the story is that, in the words of Guthrie, “I’m sittin’ here on the Group W bench ’cause you want to know if I’m moral enough to join the Army, burn women, kids, houses and villages after bein’ a litterbug.” The officer rejects Guthrie for military service, declaring “we don’t like your kind” and sending his fingerprints to the FBI. Thank you Arlo Guthrie and Wikipedia.

Now imagine you went to the military and after you got out you found out that everything you believed you were working for was a farce. Yes, a farce. And then you find out that your own president and his minions relegated you, an honorably discharged veteran to the “Group W” bench as a potential terrorist and the most likely threat internal US security. Well that is what happened in 2009 when Janet Napolitano’s lackey at the Department of Homeland Security developed a report saying that the greatest threat to US internal security is “returning veterans”.

Today you can’t get into Canada if you have a felony record, which is extremely easy to achieve. If you have a felony record or even a misdemeanor record well….you belong on the Group W bench. Regardless, few people know that they unwittingly commit three felonies a day. In fact one man Harvey A. Silverglate wrote a book titled “Three Felonies a Day: How the Feds Target the Innocent”.

Well it has gotten even better now that Michael Bloomberg, having no special interest whatever in Colorado politics, donated over $300,000 dollars to help fight Angela Giron’s recall vote. Now those two have an exemption from the Group W Bench of course because they are the “corrupt elite” mess with them and YOU wind up on the Group W Bench. For instance, a friend of mine near Colorado City in Pueblo County exposed the election fraud the Democrats engage in to win the vote and the election. Sheriff’s deputies, two Pueblo County captains showed up on his doorstep without a warrant, demanding to see his e-mail list. He spirited his hard drives away from his house after the deputies left to protect his email and those with who my friend associated with as part of the Liberty Action Group who worked very hard to get a Tea Party member elected governor. Later my friend discovered that the Disabled Veteran tags on his vehicles had been re-registered to another person. It is a felony to run bogus plates on a vehicle in Colorado. My friend, a good patriot and a political activist turned over the evidence to the Colorado Secretary of State and the State Attorney General’s office…..but we never heard about it in the news….nothing to see here folks.

Then recently, a friend of mine, who has never before had a brush with the law, discovers that their spouse was soliciting prostitutes on line. An altercation ensued with the offender which resulted in the guilty spouse (who admitted all) getting slapped in the face. A serious case of domestic violence to say the least, but also a crime of passion, my spouse would shoot me if I were to do that. When my friend was arrested for the domestic violence, my friend was told by the deputy sheriff that soliciting a prostitute was not illegal, but slapping your spouse is definitely a crime. Just goes to show how well trained most police are trained; Colorado law bears fines of up to $5000 for soliciting prostitution. My friend was strip searched, given dirty prison garb to wear. To say the least, my friend was extremely distraught and in tears. My friend was then threatened with a severe beating if they didn’t stop crying by one of the nice attendants, also referred to as screws, or wardens. How pleasant, none the less my friend is now on the Group W Bench. Moral of the story, don’t get put on the Group W Bench in Teller County Colorado. I know jail isn’t meant to be a pleasant experience, but someone needs to look long and hard at Teller County Jail and how it is being administered, because there were horror stories. Oops, well never mind, I am already on the Group W Bench.

Then we have the case of Blaine Cooper in Humboldt, Arizona. Blaine made a comment on Facebook that scared the dickens out of the government. He talked about how tyrannical the government is becoming and that militias are standing up and it got someone’s attention and well he was called by the local police and told he needed to come talk to an FBI agent down at the station. He complied and after the interview the agent decided Blaine wasn’t a threat. Blaine was also told that had he not complied his house would have been raided. Okay, we are not police state, it may look that way, it may smell that way, in fact it may be that way, but nothing to see here folks, please keep moving. You can read more about Blaine at; http://patriotsforamerica.ning.com/forum/topic/show?id=2734278%3ATopic%3A568283&xgs=1&xg_source=msg_share_topic. The bottom line on this one is that Blaine is now on the Group W Bench for venting and had to be investigated for exercising his right to free speech on Facebook. Be careful what you say on Facebook or you too might find yourself on the Group W Bench.

Now the world turns and the laws are becoming ever more numerous as our government becomes ever more corrupt. Corruption that Saul Alinsky, one of the people I am sure that communist, socialist, and President Obama all admire, says we should not fear. But corruption is detestable and should be feared when those we hire or elect become paranoid it is generally because those people are doing something wrong. But as long as the government attempts to remove more and more power from the people and places more people on the Group W Bench the downward spiral that leads to revolt by the people, will continue. Beware your government, be aware of what they do….the police state has arrived. How will you act on the Group W Bench? Think about history;

First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a communist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me. Poem “First They Came for the Jews” By Pastor Niemoller
